Here is the 1st draft of my card design:
The idea is to create a greeting card to wish my friends, Fyz because of her convocation. So, I use image that I took during her convocation (for 2nd page). Put a word of wisdom (create using juxtaposition learn from creative studies class)

Process:
1) I use this image to create main page background, this picture is taken during my vacation at Kuala selangor:
I also do a little bit touch up to this image

2) Using shape and pen tool, i create student and graduation hat:

3) Then I create vignetting using single black layer:

4) Now, proceed to 2nd page, first of all, I use aqua color for background:

5) Then, using this image that i took during mmu’s 9th convocation, I use as secondary background. I apply S-Curve to this image to get sylish look. To get fade look, i apply feather and eraser. Before that, i change this image opacity to 70%:

6) I put a pattern create by using shape tool, change from normal to soft light with opacity to 70% and apply vignetting:

7) Then I apply text with blending effects such as stroke and drop shadow:
