This tutorial is about shape. Shape is one of my important and favourite tool. It create a new layer. In this articles, I show you, how to create a custom shape template using pen tool. Custom shape is library of thousand of shape and logo.
First, open a new file.
Create your own shape using pen tool. In this example, I try create a cartoon whale. Try to get familiar with pen tool, because it really help (using pen tool in illustrator & adobe photoshop is different..you should try it

After finish design your shape, go to:
Edit > Define Custom Shape
Dont forget to put your name of custom shape
Finally, you can view your shape at custom shape pallete. Next time, when you want to use it, just pick it up. You can set size and color without change the shape.
